SEBA offers specialised programs that nurture skills and character at every level. Each course is crafted to challenge athletes while supporting their individual growth.

TINY TADPOLES (6–8 Years)

A fun, beginner-focused program designed to introduce basketball fundamentals through structured learning.


Program Focus:

  • Learning correct fundamental basketball skills from the beginning.
  • Breaking down each skill into simple, easy-to-follow steps.
  • Developing coordination, balance, and movement patterns.
  • Building confidence through positive learning experiences.
  • Reducing the development of poor habits through correct technique.
  • Encouraging enjoyment, participation, and a lifelong love of basketball.
  • Improving decision-making and basketball IQ through age-appropriate activities.

FROGLETS (9–10 Years)

A developmental program focused on refining fundamental skills and introducing more advanced basketball concepts.


Program Focus:

  • Developing strong technical foundations in all core basketball skills.
  • Teaching the mechanical processes behind effective movement and skill execution.
  • Improving balance, body control, visual tracking, and coordination.
  • Introducing progressive skill development before game-based application.
  • Building confidence through structured success and repetition.
  • Enhancing decision-making and understanding of the game.
  • Preparing athletes for more complex basketball situations and competition.

FROGGIES (12–13 Years)

A skill development program designed to bridge the gap between fundamental skills and game performance.


Program Focus:

  • Continuing the development of physical literacy and athletic movement.
  • Refining all core basketball fundamentals.
  • Introducing defensive pressure and live decision-making.
  • Developing game awareness and basketball IQ.
  • Applying skills in competitive and game-like scenarios.
  • Preparing players for representative and higher-level basketball pathways.


Clinic 1 – Foundation Group

Suitable for players who:

  • Have never played basketball; or
  • Have limited experience (up to 2 seasons).

Objective:

  • Build confidence and comfort in the learning environment.
  • Establish strong fundamental skills and game understanding.
  • Create a positive pathway for long-term development.


Clinic 2 – Development Group

Suitable for players who:

  • Have 3–4+ seasons of playing experience.
  • Participate in domestic and/or representative basketball.

Objective:

  • Further refine technical skills.
  • Increase decision-making speed under pressure.
  • Develop advanced game concepts and tactical understanding.
  • Prepare players for higher levels of competition.

The South East Basketball Academy Middle and Senior Basketball Development Program

 

Our program combines advanced skill development, game intelligence, athletic performance training, and leadership education to create well-rounded athletes capable of excelling both on and off the court. Through a structured curriculum, players are challenged to develop advanced technical proficiency, decision-making under pressure, positional understanding, and the habits required for long-term success in basketball.


Core Basketball Fundamentals Include:

• Ball handling and dribbling under pressure
• Passing accuracy, timing, and court vision
• Shooting technique, shot selection, and scoring efficiency
• Footwork, balance, and body control
• Defensive positioning and on-ball defence
• Rebounding fundamentals and physicality
• Transition offence and defensive recovery
• Basketball IQ, decision-making, and game awareness
• Team concepts, spacing, and movement without the ball

SEBA Junior Program

Our Level 1 SEBA Junior Program provides young basketball players with the fundamental skills, knowledge, and confidence required to learn and enjoy the game in a fun, supportive environment.
